How Shinedust works in Pokémon TCG Pocket

Duplicates pay Shinedust. You spend it on flair and on trades from 3-diamond upward. A low-rarity trade can cost more stamina than the dust is worth.

Duplicate Shinedust from Game8 (1 source); trade costs cross-checked with the public rarity table.

Ways to collect it

Opening packs and receiving a duplicate can award Shinedust. Receiving a shared duplicate is limited to once per day and up to 720 dust, according to Game8 (1 source). Its shop example costs 2 Shop Tickets for a trainer duplicate worth 20 dust; shop availability can change. Pack points can also obtain a card you already own.

Deluxe Pack ex duplicates paid 720 dust per 4-diamond, and that set is not on sale. I will not tell you to open it. Flair spends dust; I do not have a full per-level flair price, so I do not print one.

FAQ

Should I trade 1-diamond cards for dust?

The source says that trade spends stamina and can be a net loss once 3-diamond costs enter. I treat bulk trading as a bad dust plan.

What is flair?

A cosmetic on the card. It spends Shinedust. A flaired card trades only for another flaired card of the same rarity.
